Gamma Bros. is an old school style shmup by pixeljam games. You'll require flash player innstalled and Its available as a free download for both Mac & PC here.
A 'shmup' is short for Shoot 'em up. The unique bit about this shmup is in the little details. Right from the 'Thunderbirds are GO!' style intro to the small animations when you change ships. The game has the right pace before things get pretty hectic and some amazing Bosses. Also your vehicle can shoot in 4 directions. Some times the frame rate stagger when there are a lot of ships & pyrotechnics on the screen.

Flight Reviews
Last year I bought two overpriced collections of comics titled 'Flight' & 'Flight Volume 2'. Both volumes are published by Image comics.
'Flight' had a theme - Flight. Each comic was written by a different artist. So there were different & wonderful interpretations of flying & flight. Most of the stories were of the feel good kind. Uplift - flights of fancy etc.
'Flight Volume II'. Theme is still flight, but some of the artists chose not to stick to the theme (it was either that or I didn't follow their flight path ;)
These two collections just leave one feeling warm. Its also is refreshing to read something that doesn't involve super-fucking-freaks and deals with mature issues.

On Creating
I'm going through a hectic period. I'm trying to build the Westminster Abbey in a month. And paint frames of animation for a movie, whose deadline is fast approaching.
